Marella Bradway

For Marella Bradway, a job in Extension was an obvious match for her skills and interests. The Florida Sea Grant agent has been with Florida Extension since graduate school. "Extension challenges me," Marella says. "It's a career where I'm not only helping others, but also learning myself."

Bill Brown

Bill Brown has spend most of his career working for Florida Extension. Now a county Extension director, Bill has spent his thirty-two years with Florida Extension in two counties. He offers prospective Extension agents the following advice: "If you want a very rewarding job where you're exposed to a lot of different people who appreciate your work, this is the place to be."

About Us

Extension is the public outreach component of the University of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, where experts research solutions for everyday life. Extension provides educational materials, workshops, and classes to all Floridians about lawn and garden care, family life and consumer choices, agriculture, community development, the environment, and youth development.
