Biography

Christy Huntley is the Grants Coordinator for IFAS Extension County Operations. She assists and advises Principal Investigators (PIs) on the interpretations and implementations of existing and new federal, agency, state, and university rules and regulations. PIs can contact Christy for assistance with purchase orders, invoice processing, P-card purchases and approvals, or general purchasing assistance with their sponsored programs. Christy administers and manages grant funding under the prevue of the Dean and Associate Dean for Extension. 

Christy oversees the fiscal dispensation of the Special Pesticide Certification Examination program, which is administered in all sixty-seven Florida counties to license limited and restricted pesticide applicators. She also prepares the state contributions report--Partners for Progress--that is disseminated to Florida Extension offices annually.
