Biography

Adam Naim is the Grants Coordinator for IFAS Extension County Operations. He assists and advises Principal Investigators (PIs) on the interpretations and implementations of existing and new federal, agency, state, and university rules and regulations. PIs can contact Adam for assistance with purchase orders, invoice processing, P-card purchases and approvals, or general purchasing assistance with their sponsored programs. Adam administers and manages grant funding under the prevue of the Dean and Associate Dean for Extension.

Adam oversees the fiscal dispensation of the Special Pesticide Certification Examination program, which is administered in all sixty-seven Florida counties to license limited and restricted pesticide applicators. He also prepares the state contributions report--Partners for Progress--that is disseminated to Florida Extension offices annually.
