• Executive Secretary to the Associate Deans for UF/IFAS Extension

Biography

Liz is the Executive Secretary to the Associate Dean and Assistant Director for Extension and the Associate for Extension, Agricultural Programs.  She maintains their calendars, which includes setting up meetings and interviews for county and state positions. She arranges travel and receives, composes, and finalizes correspondence. Liz receives all correspondence for the Associate Deans and assists with telephone communication for the office.

Liz is responsible for the coordination of the monthly Administration / Supervision meetings, District Extension Director meetings and conference calls, and the Program Leaders meetings. She coordinates the quarterly ARL/ESTL Oversight Committee meetings, which rotate coordination among the IFAS Associate Deans' secretaries. In addition, she is responsible for organizing Extension Comings and Goings, the monthly newsletter distributed by the Office of the Dean for Extension via e-mail and the Web.

Liz is originally from South Florida and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Communication Disorders from Florida State University.
