Postage

Extension Administration provides support for 1^st class postage at county Extension offices (and several other locations). We are transitioning from the Pitney Bowes meters to a new system that utilizes online software. The software is accessed using a local computer and uses a USB postage scale and stamp printer that plug into that same computer. CED/supervisors can access the system for reporting/monitoring purposes from any computer. This system is called SendPro Enterprise; our site is found at https://ufledu.sendproenterprise.com/.

Extension Administration will pay for the software subscription and postage used, as well as stamp rolls for the special stamp printer. (Request stamp rolls via email keithg@ufl.edu). • Implementing the System

  CED/Supervisor

  Choose a “central” computer or the computer of a staffer to be used for the new mailing software and peripherals.

  District/County IT

  Work with each CED/Supervisor to download the “Hubcap” from Pitney Bowes that connects SendPro Enterprise with the peripherals, as well as the needed drivers for the peripherals.

  CED/Supervisor

  Log into the system at https://ufledu.sendproenterprise.com/ using your temporary username and password (per Keith Gouin keithg@ufl.edu ) and update your account with a new username and password.

  CED/Supervisor

  Add 1 or 2 new users (Desktop users) to meet the postage needs of your office.

  Desktop User

  Begin using the new system https://ufledu.sendproenterprise.com/ and make an appointment for Pitney Bowes to pick up the meter when ready.
