Grower and Worker Education
UF/IFAS Extension, FDACS, the Southeastern Coastal Center for Agricultural Health and Safety, and the agriculture industry are working collaboratively to provide strategic support and science-based information to protect the agricultural community from COVID-19. These materials have been created or collected and are aligned with CDC guidelines to provide a one-stop tool kit for training, education, and environments.

Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services written guidelines can also be viewed and downloaded at the Guidelines include recommendations on proper mask usage, the importance of frequent handwashing with soap and regulations on safe transportation that adheres to social distancing guidelines for workers who don’t share a household.
